Signature Help

I need help with making my signature work. I made a sig using photoshop but when I tried to upload onto the forums the picture came out very small so I couldn't use it for my signature/banner. What dimensions should I used for pixel height and width or inches on photoshop that will be best for a signature size?? Or is there any web sites that any one knows of where I could upload pictures onto for free? So that way I can use the link and link it onto the forum? Thanks to any one that can help me out

yes i am today.... it is taking aproximatellly 3 hours to load their main page.
