How do I exactly use a quote?

what i do is copy the phrase you want to quote, push the "Quote" button, copy the phrase, and then push the "Quote" button again to close the tags.

So it should look something like this "[QUOTE]poop</QUOTE>"

*well not exactly with the</QUOTE> since if i made it correct then it will enable the quotation which then i cannot show you how it should look like.

if you click the Quote button next to the Report button (at the top of somebody's post), it will bring up a reply page, and if you scroll down just above the Reply & Preview Reply, you'll see their entire post has automatically been added to a quote text box.

or, if you are typing a quote directly into the text of your post,
typing this (without the spaces in the QUOTE brackets):

[ QUOTE ] desmobob owes me money dammit [ /QUOTE ]

will produce this:
