I think this is a good idea. That way we can post if we want without appearing as a post-whore duw to our count. Those who post just to up their count will lose tat motivation. Also, post counts will in some way reflect how much a member contributes to the site (although one can still post-whore/highjack the tech section threads). Even if my reasons may not be right, I'm all for it.

i think its a great idea... even though people on the site, still whore, for tons of posts, which makes no sense in my eyes!

I think it should stay on. As y'all had mentioned previously, it's much more representative, and may actually keep the post numbers down by getting rid of many unnecessary posts.
