Car model & year

Could the Admin/mod team please somehow make it compulsory that when you register to include the model "E"#, engine size and year, In the profile, as half the time I'm trying to help people and the 1st question is...what model, year etc...I know Im not the only one who's asks when trying to assist.....

Awesome idea! That would really make us be able to help people quick enough that they don't just forget about it and not come back.

I'm afraid if we make that mandatory it will put even more people off from registering ... especially the E# ... 90 percent of the people don't even know that it exists, much less what their car falls under.

Make the model (eg 323i) & year a minimum, but leave an option of tba for those just looking at buying their first bmws

Agree - how about just having them put in the year and model # they have unless they are just looking to buy their first?
