Bmw, what are the best known for?

I have1994 bmw 325i that is classified as an e36 model. people be saying that bmw are good, best motor in industry, but didn't specify how. So my question, what are bmw best known for, what so special about them, whats the difference between each series, how each series better than the other. What about e36 model, what is special about them? What should i look out for? what are the common problems for bmw? Any facts that you know drop them here. Sorry with all those question, but since i own bmw (my first car) i want to know as much about this brand. And also dont be afraid to drop some facts about m series, because i luv M power )

Garage
As above, BUT...
A BMW is well balanced in it's weight distribution... Far better than the Competition (whichever allegiance you may have in your country), extra long-lasting engines if maintained.
Much power generated from an engine that doesn't require any forced air (Petrol).
Many other "Vehicle makes" try to match this by bolting on a Turbo, and consistantly fail !!

The above can also apply to Mercedes and VAG, but the BMW will always lead the way...

Just me LOL
