Eventhough I have an E21 and E30, my favorite 3 series is the E36 M3. I consider that the last true M car. After the E36 M3 went out of production, to me, the M cars started getting a little soft. BMW started going after the masses insted of the true driving enthuiest with the E46 M3.

CSL - Of course I felt lucky before! As soon as my eyes fell upon her I thought I was dreaming.

I just meant that I never thought others would feel the same way about her as I do! :

e36 m3 ... I consider that the last true M car
tsk tsk wrong wrong. Unless you live in europe, the e30 is the first and last real M car. Unless you count the m1 which wasnt mass produced and more importantly wasnt even designed by BMW besides the engine which had a big 3.5. US e36 m3s are wussy by all means of the deffinition and they are just a larger displacement, higher compression 325. Nothing special. E46 m3 is also a true M car too. To bad its not linear.

Besides I hate that plastic cheap looking interior.

i first fell in love with bimmers back with the e36-so there will always be a soft spot for them, but ever since the 46 came out i couldn't think of anything else. buying my 46 was the best decision i've ever made.
