Your Advice: X3, X5, or 530?

Which car or 2 should we buy? We like the body styling and the size of the sun/moon roof of the X3, but want the roomier space of the X5. I'm also falling slowly for the seduction of the technology of the new 530, but I find it "ugly" (forgive me, I'm a nuvo-riche).

dont worry, about 80% of the people think its ugly too. the x5 is the best on-road SUV and the x3 i hear should be great off-road. so, it all comes down to what your going to use the vehicle for

i'd go with an X5..but if you were to get a 5 series..i'd definetly go with a 540i..we have one for sale lol

Please stay away from the 2004 5 Series. It is a terrible automobile. I have both a 2003 530i and a 2004. The 04 can't and I repeat, cannot compete with the 2003. Bad, bad, bad handling, noisy cabin, 1000 miles on it, and already 5 trips to the service department. Lots of problems...
