Alright this kid in my History class says his stock miata would beat my 93 325i auto tranny with cold air in the quarter mile and on a road course...is this right???

Those cars are very fun to drive, and are quite tossable. Given time with a Miata, it's owner is sure to start thinking he/she is a racecar driver. That's where that kind of talk comes from.
I wouldn't worry, while fun to drive, they are quite slow, and I'm sure you'd be fine in a dog fight. I will say the 94 325i auto isn't gonna win many races though.

So should I tell him race on & put money on it in the 1/4 or road race, either one right? Thanks!!!!
As far as 1/4 mile time, on papaer, you should beat him easily. But your cars have some age on them, and it would depend on both car's conditions, and your ability to drive them.
As for a street race, it would be totally up to the driver.
turbo M3 with blow off valve, that would be very much so sweet

I am confused??? I can beat this miata right?? Because he was talking more shit today like there is no way i could hang with him through any turns at all im like wtf do you not know how good bmw's handling is...
Just race him, but don't get cocky and blow it. Be wary of your abilities, push you car to the limit, but don't cross it. I'd say, be safe and take it on a 1/4 mi track.
If I may suggest, find somewhere near you where they do autoX and practice. Learn how to drive your ulitmate driving machine, and wipe the road with that Mazda. Do that before you "race". Besides, you never know when it may help you in the future.
