jimg300 n00b Join Date: Aug 2004 Car: Posts: 2 Photos:	Hi, I am desparate, I need a transmission for a 1994 740 (5hp30) and a found a deal on a trans from a 1998 740i (5hp-24) I know that the 5hp30 is the beefer trans but, zf thought it was over kill for the v8's so they when to the 5hp-24 in mid 1996 . So I feel it will bolt up ok,but will the wiring and the computer work? Anybody actually tried it? thanks Hurry sorry jim g
