I was just wondering what it's going to be like once I finally get my hands on one of these beasts. Have you gotten waves and what nots while driving down the road? Or when you pull up to a resturant been mistaken for a VIP or something like that. Please share any stories you might have of funny things that include your Bimmer.
Peops heads turn tend to turn around when I drive by, either bcs of car or sound system

It has not gotten me laid (but I guess that isn't the cars fault)
well today i got a thumbs up from some guy in a MINT 1970ish red 911 carrera, i saw him comming up and as he pulled next to me i gave him the thumbs up and as i was doing so, he was in the process of doing the same. it was just cool to get respect from such a beautiful car!

I was told that a couple bitches broke their necks when I drove by fast b/c they were lookin so hard.
Seriously though, I get many compliments at stop lights and always notice peeps heads turn when I drive by. But that is not the fun part, the fun is in the driving.
lots of stares, lots of "you have a really nice car," how can YOU afford that? and a lot of "can I get a ride?" It's a real attention getter, I'm only 18 but I drive a 528. But the most I have gotten is a lot of Ricers, probably because I have a ricer exhaust... bought it like that. Getting a new one soon. But yeah, chicks LOVE it man. I get actual feedback from it through the steering, not like my moms nissan or my dads ford:P And I'm learning how to be a MUCH better driver. I love driving my car
When I drive my dads BMW around school (if my car is out of commision) people tend to stare at me. idk why. BUT when I drive my 3000GT I get thumbs up, so numorous people telling me I have a nice car, and what kind it is. Chicks love that car. But the beem I get will no doubt be nice to stare at, soon...
It's definitely a head turner - even the 318i I used to drive. Been driving bimmers my whole life... You get a lot of stares and whatnot, and even crosscar flirtations if your windows are down. It helps if you wear sunglasses - more people tend to gawk if you hid your eyes with a good pair of oakleys or bolle's.
I think the coolest thing was a week after I got my m3... this limousine was pulled up to me at a stop light, and the window rolls down... this girl in an evening dress offered me a Mike's Hard Lemonade...
Of course I refused. I was driving. I would never put my car in danger.
Another funny story - was driving through my parents' residential area, and these 6-12 year olds were playing soccer. One kid stopped and stared and drooled something like, "Woah... that's a NICE car..." and promptly got beaned by the soccer ball.
