Targa Newfoundland is the ultimate motorsport adventure - we take 2 distinct competitions and turn them into an experience of a lifetime! The event involves seven days of competition on 500 KM of closed roads within a 2000 km route through some of North America's most fabulous scenery.
You not only get the satisfaction of participating in a truly unique event, but you will experience an adventure that combines the adrenaline of racing, the camaraderie of friends and enthusiasts, and memories that will last a lifetime! In addition to the competition element, there will be displays of the competing vehicles, parties and a gala post-event bash - good times with good new friends!
Targa Newfoundland is comprised of 2 distinct competitions along the same route.
TARGA COMPETITION
Performance competition for fully prepared street legal vehicles, on closed, paved, roads.
Vehicles are divided into 4 divisions: Historic (1900 - 1946), Classic (1947 - 1976), Modern (1977 - Current) &
Unlimited (1900 - Current).
GRAND TOURING COMPETITION
For any make and model of street legal vehicle (1900-Current)
Time, Speed, Distance (T.S.D.) style competition, designed to reward precision driving.

Basic Safety Equipment
Experience all the wonders of Targa Newfoundland at a more leisurely pace.
