Self-explanatory, I hope. Inspired by a post in the thread in Lounge about a wrecked bumper and subsequent aftermath, a British BMWphile mentioned they call theirs Beemers. So, what do you call yours?

well if i am talking to someone who i know who knows about cars i say my bimmer (pronunce it beemer). but if i am talking to someone i don't really know, or someone that i think doesn't know too much about cars i say BMW. so i guess if i am talking about the car i say bimmer, but if i am saying what kind of car i have, or what it is i say BMW.

bimmer - not pronounced beemer... you dont read the word dimmer as deemer
when i talk to bmw literate people i say bimmer... to others i say either beemer (which is a bmw motorcycle... but most people dont know that) or just bmw or bm or whatever.
if its my friends its my car. if its my family and we are discusing who goes where, il say " il drive the BMW, and pick up grandma..." i dont call it a bimmer my friends do

Bimmer isn't bullshit, and it isn't pronounced "beemer".
For the uneducated:
Beamer=Beemer= a BMW motorcyle, or, officially, "any BMW with less than four wheels."
Bimmer= a BMW car.
So please, call your car a BMW or a Bimmer. It is NOT a Beamer/Beemer.
