Resale Value

Anybody have suggestions where I can find the original list pricing for 1995 through 2002 5 series? I'm trying to do some analysis on how the 5 series resale value is affected during the first ten years of a car's life. I have plenty of info on current resale value, but I'm trying to determing what the original list prices were for the 5 series during the last 10 years. Thanks.

kbb and edmunds give you prices per year.

Thanks. Actually found a link on the Auto Trader site....when you select a model and year you'll get a tab at the top for the original model year data. Gives you orig list price, color combos, etc. I think this topic is done....stick a fork in it.

Has anyone run into this problem in their area :

The E46 has a lowball blue book value and edmunds value, say 21K for a 2001 325ci, however, the E46 is selling for upwards of 35,000 sticker price; depending on options. So... why is there such a gap in price? The average 2001 325ci around here goes for 26k.

It is extremely bazaar to me... Makes me wonder what to ask for my 2001 325ci when i go to get a lease on an 05...

Any ideas?
