Can anybody tell me BMW part number for the passenger side outside mirror trim. It is black plastic part "picture frame" around the mirror.
The car is 2002 BMW 325I 4dr sedan.
The mirror desciption is Fold-in; with memory; no high gloss.
I accidentally hit the post while pulling from the garage. All components are intact with exception of mentioned plastic trim. I had no problem to dissasamble the mirror and removing brocken pieces of the trim.
My neighborhood dealer offered to sell to me the whole side mirror assembly with all the guts. I am surprised, that I cant buy just the part I need, can anybody advise, if the mentioned part is available for BMW owners.
Thanks in advance,
Traveler

REP. SET F RIGHT EXTERIOR MIRROR FRAME
51 16 8 269 026

disclaimer: you'd better verify if that is the actual part # at the parts counter, BEFORE placing the order. the description in the database was very skimpy.
