Noob! Hopefully about to buy my first BMW

Hi All,

New to the forum and hopefully in the next month or so (finances permitting!!) I'll be new to the BMW community.

Company motor goes back soon and I've decided to treat myself for my 30th to a 330i - probably a couple of year old one depending on the budget. I've also decided to go for the saloon rather than coupe - family n all that!

Basically just wanted to introduce myself and hopefully get some hints from you guys about what to look out for when shopping for this car. Any info on people's experiences would be most gratefully received.

hey im in the same boat as your are. i found a 325i that i can afford but am still have to go down and look at it. im new to the forums to but

welcome to the forums, hope you stick around.

look for leaks, rattles... pretty much same as any other cars. i don't know that there is anything specific to look for in a newer 3 series

welcome and Happy hunting, I bought an older (92) bimmer and absolutely love it ........Im sure youll be happy with about anything except the X3, ....LOL. Look for the normal things and keep browsing the forums for model specific problems.......Oh BTW Happy B-Day
