Just ordered a 2008 535xi yesterday...delivery in 60-80 days. The535 engine is the same twin turbo as on the current 335 sedan, coupe and convertible. I've driven the 335 and it is nearly what the e46 M3 was (I had a 2002 M3). Now I live in Denver so the performance of the turbo 335 is pretty much a push for the non-turbo 340 in the M due to altitude. Not quite an M suspension though.
As a PS, I drove the 550i and the M5, the latter being stupid fast...what a magnificent machine.
i want that motor for my 530 ! lol shame down here in australia us younger drivers are restricted from turbo charged cars ahwell can always de badge it n put 525i badges lol
