Some leather in my interior is pretty sad... ESPECIALLY my door panels and driver seat... How much do you guys think this would cost to get repaired, or do you think i'll need to have it completely redone... here are the pics..
back right.. oh, and that greasey black streak wont come out... i tried cleaning it with zymol leather cleaner and it barely did anything... maybe leathertique would work?
and this is the back pockets of the car... they look pretty disgusting, they are more of an orangey color than a nice tan leather color.,.. how could this be fixed?
the door panels are vinyl not leather and for the most part you need to replace them thats gross
i have heard of some vinyl repair guys able to fix those dings though but it might be quite expensive, junk yard maybe?
... but for that black run stain thing try some simple green on it.
the seats and pockets are toast you could try restaining them but...eh
for the most part i would get those seats reopolserted(sp)
btw what happened to your car?

1. They are vinyl? wow, i thought they were leather... so it's the same thing as leatherette? i wouldnt mind getting my seats redone in leatherette since i hear it's considerably cheaper than leather itself..
2. I'll have to pink up some simply green... i need to get rid of that streak its absolutly disgusting...
3. Yea, i figured the pockets were gone... I doubt restaining them would do much since the color they are now is considerably darker than the original color....
How much does an upolstery job run for? and what do you mean 'what happened to your car?' lol i have done nothing but fixed this car since i got it... all of those interior flaws are from the previous owner... I just aquired this car last month...

Yes it is... im sure i could have that wet sanded then fixed up nicely, but i think i would just eventually put some kind of veneer over that. It would be a cool way to make my interior unique (even though it is unique right now since it's in horrible condition, but i hope to change that someday preferably soon)
i think vinyl and leathette are different but don't qoute me on that...
when we got my car its new interior we got all new carpet mats and since its a convertable vinyl on the top cover thing plus new leather seats... the vinyl(or leathette) should be considerably cheaper ran about ummm 4g so depending on what you want done there is a rough estimate, 4g might be a little high
i think on teh 5er the sides ARE leather, just not on 3-series. u can buy leather recoloer for those back pockets. and also that trim is way to bright, my moms with the same color leather has a nice dark one. reuphostry is gonna be soo much bc leathe costs lot plus labor. better of finding some same colro seats.
