Hi everyone in the forum!
My name is Lutz and I live in Germany actually.
My intention is to make some interesting post here, of course.
Contrabangle? In deed, I'm the Anti-Bangle in person.
I hope, you don't mind me for that. I have a strong passion for BMWs. Becouse it's a perfect drive with those machines.
The new shape of the cars is a matter of taste. I'm very eager to hear some opinions of the Bangle Fans and the "anties". I just like to hear what the people are thinking.
For that, I did design an opposite of the Bangle BMWs -- to have something controversial. Just take a look at my website where the pictures are.
I was not warm to the bangle design at first but as the range has evolved I have really started to like the designs and the direction they are taking.
You've got to think that the models released now are going ot be 'current' for the next 6 years. I've always thought that it has taken a little while for competitors to catch BMW design when new models are released. The Five is gorgeous and from the spy pics i've seen the new 3 will be incredible too.
I like your 6 series pictures man. A little bit ostentatious but very cool. You'll have to wait and see what the real M6 (even the M6CSL) looks like in a year or two....

<span style='color:gray'>"...and the home of the brave..... is bravey 130bhp from a 7 litre engine? 100bhp/litre or don't bother building it!"</span>
<span style='color:red'>"Aaahh the UK; where every road is jammed, under construction, poorly maintained and unfairly policed, at least we don't get over-taxed for it........ HA HA HA!"</span>
Of course, the actual design is growing on a lot of people. Other carmakers will probably copying the Bangle/v.Hooydonk Style. A demonstration of BMW's success.
But there is still enough to enhance, like at most carmakers too.
What kind of program are u using to design your cars?
It was CATIA V5, a horrible program. WhereI made that BMW coupe in 2002 - at my first try the car was sth like a wrecked Saab 96 - but I only had 1 month (over 1.600 parts) for the whole thing. Unfortunately I had no more time to enhance it.
You getting old with catia software (maybe Alias are better)
