I got the ETK and TIS cd's from my friend that works at the local dealer so if anyone in the Sacramento are wants to install it on your computer let me know. ETK is the BMW parts catalog, and TIS is a BMW trouble shooting program/flow chart.

And the TIS cd is a trouble shooting program for any of the BMWs?

Yes. Basically you pick from a list of what your car is having a problem with and it will help trouble shoot it step by step.

You are correct with the password. I have no idea how to send it to someone though. If you want I can mail you a copy of the cd's, just pay for shipping.

I will go to the local UPS store and see how much shipping is going to be. What city do you live in so I can get a rough estimate.

How many people want theses CD's so I can start burning copies over the weekend? PM me your address. I'm going to charge $4 for anyone not in the Sacramento area. This cost will cover the 3 CD's (2 for ETK and 1 for TIS), and shipping. When you PM me your address I'll PM you mine.

AJ,
You HAVE to burn these suckers by copying to the HD first and then burn to disk. Otherwise, coasters. I was using Adaptec yours may be different. It would do 90+% then coaster. I never had to use any password on mine, maybe the way you put them on the HD has something to do with it.

Anyone have the KSD? I see you have TIS and ETK but no mention of KSD, I have it.

I copied mine directly from the CDs too...using Roxio EasyCD Creator 5
No problems, and you don't have to use a password, just don't check the "Dealer Network" box.
