That would be great if he could. If you have the executable file, or setup installer file can you upload that to a server, so we can download it if you provide the link? B) Not sure how to answer your question trinidon2k, you might try hitting the vehicle ID button...to see if you can type in your VIN number. Then see if you can advance the screen by hitting the arrow at the bottom right. If you can find a way to share this that would be great, and we can all figure it out...and help each other.

click vehicle ID , then select e36 than M3 than 2 door or 4 door , then production year, and then month, search cataloge via the parts search button on the right, it will give you a graphic search via pictures, its really tough without a manual to get exactly what you want. it took me a whiile to learn the system, i personally dont have it but my mechanics do and i always use it.
i got the warez for this when it pre'd... BMW.ETK.V02.2003.Multilanguage-BLIZZARDISO ...i dont have a problem fxping it to a server.....a server that we all can use...not a personal server...as far as i know from talking to ppl in #BMW on efnet....you wont be able to get the prices from the ETK.....thats some next shit....you use this just to get part numbers
You can get them (2CDs-ETK and TIS) from ebay for under $20 with shipping.
They are copies, though, not the originals.
I don't mind making copies and sending them off...
if cost of postage and CDs are covered.
Oh...and the ETK does not show prices, I think you have to be on the BMW network to have that feature. There is one point during installation where you are asked to enter some kind of a dealer ID, which you should skip. I think that's the missing link.
mines was a bitch to install too....i could never figure out how to load the crack...i was able to get the etk password though....here's the nfo for my file...i posted it b4 but no one new wtf i was talking about
The ETK is 02/2003 (Electronik Catalogue) Parts & TIS verision 02/2003
(Technical Information System).
Included information: Complete repair manuals; Service Information
Bulletins; Technical Reference Bulletins; Technical data; Tightening
Torque Data; Parts Information Bulletin; Special Tools Bulletins;
Symptom and graphics path for troubleshooting problems. These CDs
contain the very same information that BMW mechanics use to diagnose
and repair vehicles and they are a must have for anyone who owns a shop
or does his/her own repairs. The ETK Parts CD gives a complete set of
exploded diagrams of all BMW products manufactured since 1976 to March
2002 (contains info on all E28's except for the 528e).
It contains schematics and part numbers for every part and covers ALL
BMW automobiles and motorcycles from 1976 to 02/2003. The TIS (Technical
Information System) CD covers complete repair procedures for the following
models up to year 2001: The TIS technical service CD covers the E30, E31,
E32, E34, E36, E38, E39, E46 and E53. Both CDs have been tested to work
on all recent versions of Windows operating systems.
This is the same set of CDs that licensed BMW dealerships & repair
shops use for all late model BMWs. This set of CDs has never been
available for sale to the general public at large. The BMW TIS/ETK CD set
does sell to licensed dealers and repair shops for in excess of $400.
The TIS CD has all of the step-by-step directions needed for almost any
diagnostic, maintenance and repair job. Enter the VIN number of the
vehicle being repaired and all of the TIS resources are at your disposal
- from symptoms down to specific problems.
