How much bargaining did you do..

IMO there is very little room when negotiating a price w/ the seller on bimmers..so I am curious on how you ppl made out..

I was able to budge a measly $100 off the list.. n

well since mine was under blue book value i didnt get any price negotiation but i did get free shipping

I saved about $7000 buying wholesale from a BMW Financial Services lease return auction where the local BMW stealers buy their certified pre owned cars (Yes folks $23.5k is how much i paid) as compared to $30-31k from my friendly neighborhood STEALER back in 2001.

Got about $500 off asking price. Dealer was looking at the same ads for 528 5 speeds and knew his was already priced cheaper than the others I would be looking at, and most of those were without sport package. Also, he had just got it in a couple days earlier and we both knew it would sell within 2 weeks at his asking price.

i really want a 528 5 speed. i'm not so sure about the reliability of it. maintenance would probably be high on a BMW over 5 years old.

Umm I bought mine privately from my sister....I think book was like 23,000 and she sold it to me for 17,500... so I guess I made out good
