This is the single coolest innovation regarding the potential improvement of a car's handling, and ride quality to come along in the history of cars. A magnetic based active suspension system that will completely change everything about a car's road manor. Be sure to check out the videos and pics.....{CLICK HERE}

Those vidoe clips on the right side of that link are incredible. Just think, you could take turns at amazing speeds and be rediculously stable at high speeds.
As with any technology: as the demmand increases, so will manufacturer's likelihood of application. And once all the early adpoters of said technology allow the manufacturers to recoup their R&D money spent developing the product, price will come down to a reasonable level.

well put.... i think that is a great breakthrough, seeing it in the near future in a large quantity, however, i doubt will happen, but once it gets around, it will become a automotive norm.

i remember a day and time when the cd-rw drives first came out for you PC...hmmm like 1000$ not they can be found anywhere for like 20 bucks.... its a marketting system , i think if this shit is as good as you say it is, and it does improve the whole chassis and helps with turning.... then give it till the 07-08 models hit and lets see what starts flucating in the market value of that option offered by dealers or within the actually producing factories
Did you click on the link? Did you see the videos? (click on the links under "Results Through Research" ) It's amazing!
And while marketing probably came up with the idea, it's not really a scheme. It's how we now have rapid development of various technologies. Manufacturers can now put more money into research and development because they know they can recoup that money from the inflated prices paid by early adopters (the first to go out and buy it) of a given technology. This is how it works for almost anything: computers, electronics, autoparts, etc.
I don't see the point, you can lower or uprate the shocks to get that sort of handling from a car already. My 8 year old adjustable shocks on my manta when normal it corners like a blomonge but when I adjust the stiffness it handles just like that : 0[ what am I missing?
Like everything else Blose builds, its crap. This is a off-shoot of military technology designed for military and industrial applications. Which means that at some point we will see it in the automotive market. The original technology uses a conductive hydraulic oil. The principle is to 'charge' an electrode in the shock housing to the same polar magnetic field as the oil, which creates a stiffer ride. Swap magnetic poles and draw the oil to the electrode for a softer ride. Useful in applications for off road type vehicles where you need to raise ground clearance on the fly at speed or lower ground clearance for slipping under overhanging areas. Although the Bose concept is unique, its still Blose and knowing what I know about all of thier audio products, I will say that this will never be on a vehicle I own. Blose spends 90% of outgoing monies on MARKETING, not R&D. Hell, even the white paper that is available for download at the link to the right is only an add. Dont get sucked into the marketing hype.

Yeah right. Sorry, but your car is not even close to that. You may have outstanding handling when stiff, but that also makes it harsh and tight. Did you see the speed bump test. If you tried that with a stiff setting, you would break all kinds of shit.

I digress. I said it was the single coolest invovation they've come up with, what I should have said was the only cool inovation they've been working on. I've sold audio systems for over a decade, and sold Bose(er, tried no to) for half that time, and always laughed at anyone who came into my store and asked for Bose. Simply the most overated product out there. No highs, no lows, must be Bose used to be the saying. That suspension system is amazing though.
did you see that ride height on that thing??? it needed to be lowered like 4 inches. None the less it seems to be some pretty impressive technology that with some time could likey be popping up on alot of upcoming car models
