Im planning on getting some ellipsoids soon for my car, and I really want HID. I was wondering, is it possible to use the HID components of a e46 in an e36 projector?

if you are willing to do a little frankensteining i don't see why not. you may also be able to get away with using generic HID componentry (non-e46 specific).
