has anyone here installed heated seats in their e36? where can i get a kit to do it and how much would it cost? it gets pretty nippy here in the mornings!

I'm not sure you can aftermarket that, it's not the seat install, but I don't know if your ride is set up w/ the hardware for it..

my dads car came stock with seats warmers and they are very cool, but the novelty wears off pretty quick, only use them when going for a decent drive.
alot of fun though

The company i work for sells seat heaters for $100us each. Once installed, they look factory. Cheers

Just make your own, Get a heat blanket and cut it up and reconnect the ends. Then take out the seat and the bottom layer of springs and pull out the sponge and place the blanket there. Lay the wire and make a 12v converter and hide it.

Homer, do they carry seat heaters for the E46? Does it include the buttons for the center 'dash'?? How easy is the install?

My '92 325i has the Factory Heated Seats, there are two settings:
lightly toasted or hot crossed buns...
