Ok so I'm on Rt. 78 here in NJ crusing and there's this older car behind me, in the fast lane. He's like on my ass, so I speed up a bit, he speeds up. We were both going down hill and i was trying to pass other cars so i could eventually merge over to avoid this crack head. When i looked down and saw i was doing a high rate of speed. I found my gap and pulled in, then he sped off in the left lane. I then slowed down and moved into the right lane as my exit came soon, all of a sudden, I see the Township cop speeding in the left lane, then makes a sharp cut across the middle lane and right onto my ass.
$216 fine for what he said I was doing 90mph in a 65mph zone according to his laser gun. He said it doesn't lie. Isn't that accurate to +/- some amount? This is a 4 point offense in NJ. Isn't there a higher valued offence that I can plea to that won't have any points, so as to not have my insurance get involved and how much would that higher offense be? My court date is June 29th, 2004.
Oh..... is there anyway of seeing how fast i was going, like something to do with the average speed indicator on my OBC or use that to plea with?

Ive run from 3 cops, got away each time, and they never got my plates or face.
ask me for stories also if you wanna hear em..good stuf.

CHances are the cop wont show up in court so if you plead a good case you will win.
And another thing, if someone is riding your ass, DONT speed up.. i thought this was common knowledge taught in drivers ed. Because look what happens, you speed up and get a ticket while the asshole riding your jock gets away.
Im not sure what the laws are in NJ but in Arkansas if there is a guy riding your ass in the left lane on a 2 or more lane road that does not have freqent left turns. Then you ca be charged with reckless endangerment because apparently you are doing something wrong by going the speed limit. So you're supposed to move over, or speed up and move over when it's safe. Check and see if NJ has a law like that. Could get you off...
next time you get pulled over and he asks you why you went so fast say: "i got a dead body in my trunk and i am in a hurry to hide it"
so when back-up comes and they dont find anything, tell them... "see how big of a liar he is, he might make up that i was going 25 over"
