Going monochromatic

I am thinking of taking all the color bits off my Granite Grey colored, black leathered '92 325i. B)

I can get black and white roundels, go white or grey on the turn signals, brake lights, etc, and replace every other exterior part that isn't some type of grey.

Is this a good idea or am I just screwy?

Has anyone done this before? Do you have pictures?

i think it would look good. on a grey car, liked smoked lights, but, i wouldnt mess with the roundels, even though i know u can get them in like red, and grey and stuff. also

IMO whenever your car isnt a color, black/white/silver/grey etc, it look sbad without orange/red lights. like i hate when ppl with white or silver cars, change to clear/white lights.
