The other day i go to my friends house and I park my car in his drive way. As Im heading in his room i hear my alarm going off, I run out side and see my car in hte middle of the street. Luckliy it didnt hit any car or anybody, but the point is it fucked up my taillight, my exhuast and some strip under my bumper!!!! AHHH Im so mad. Makes me real mad cause i usually put it in gear but for osme reason i didnt this time.
One boy i work with on the farm parked his honda on the top of this hill where we keep the tractors. Went on the otherside of the farm to mow and when he finished came back and couldnt find his car. It had rolled down the hill and into one of the horse paddocks. Had to go get his car and the horses.

i used to live with my ex and had an altima at the time. she drove it(always) and i drove her pile of shit toyota. one morning i get in the truck to go to work and there is a car in the middle of the two rows of covered parking. hmm thats strange... it's not movin. i took a closer look and found out why-it was my car! all night it sat there, just chillin. just rolled out and sat. i walk over thinkin there was foul play afoot but there wasn't she just left it out of gear and didn't throw on the ebrake. i thought that was pretty nice. thank god it was a gentle slope.
my ebrake holds even if it is not in gear... look at my sig
but when i was a kid my mom left me in her 1987 isuzu trooper II unattended, and i pulled the E-Brake and the car started to roll into the street (5 speed). she ran out jumped in and pulled the ebrake before it rolled out completely.
I hate driven autos because I'll just turn the car off and then look puzzled as the key won't come out of the ignition. I also have a bad habit when I return rental movies. This of course only applys in an auto. I'll open the door, leave it in drive and pull the e-brake with out thinking about it. When i get back if theres any body if the car they always look like WTF???
hahaha, i do that stuff all the time, my car is stick, and i rarely ever drive another car, but whenever my car is getting fixed or if i am working on it and need to run out to get something overlooked i take out my sisters car, and the first thing i always do is look for the clutch, freaking out wondering where the heck it is, then i remember her car is auto, drive off. come up to a stop light and try to push the clutch in with the brake. geeze im dumb, still in the auto car. then when i go to park no matter how hard i try and remember, i just shut the car off and try and get the keys out to no avail, oh yah, forgot to put the car in park first. then the same stuff happens like 5 minutes later going back home or where ever. its so fn annoying, who knew that once you get used to a stick car, driving an auto is actually more hastle than the stick.

my favorite is when stopping at a light i not only try to step on the nonexistent clutch petal but also try to take it out of second gear and put the damn thing into neutral. whoopsy.
The other thing is that I speed a lot more in an auto. I justify not going faster thatn 35 in 25 because I don't want to shift to 4th and don't want to be that high in the rpms in 3rd. But in an auto, 40 or 45 can be ok.
