First BMW!

Guys im new here and Im going to buy my first BMW..can't afford the E46 though..thinkin of gettin an E36 325 coz heard that the 318 is a bit underpower.

Hope u guys can give me some useful tips on my purchase!! thx in advance n cheers!!

if you can i would definately go for the six pot and not the 4 cylinder engine......

there's quite a few 6cyl e36's to choose from such as two 2.5L's, 2.8L, and 3.0 + 3.2L engines in the M3. but if your budget is under 10k then a 325 would be a good choice

every one beats up the four cylinders....

Its great for gas mileage, and has less parts that can break. Plus, the difference in speed of a 318 stick VS a 325 auto isnt much.

but you should definately go for a 325 or possibly a 328, youll get way more fun out of it
