Okay, so the name of this Event is SoCal BMW/Audi Meet 04. I have a friend posting on Audiforums to tell them about the meet also, so it wil be slightly integrated.

Location and route is same as last one, because lots of people enjoyed it. If your bimmer or audi is down, and you have an alternative car, or your friend wants to come in his car, thats fine, aslong as he has the heart to drive and has a love for his car, and aslong as it isnt riced out insane(no offence if you own one).

anyways, heres the sitch:

Drive is 67 miles long, of twisties, some good straights, and plenty of ocean view canyon driving and coast cruising...we will end at Islands, for burgers and drinks and such(no, im not paying for you, bring your own damn money.)

August 21st 10:00 AM at:

Hyatt Westlake Plaza
880 S Westlake Blvd
Westlake Village, CA 91361

From LA: you need to go North on the 101 toward Ventura
From Santa Barbra Direction: You need to Go south on the 101 Toward Los Angeles

Exit 101 Freeway at "Westlake Blvd./CA23"
Go south on Westlake Blvd. to Townsgate (first intersection), left on Townsgate Road.
First left into parking lot for Hyatt/Fedex/Red's BBQ.
Meeting point is back end of parking lot, away from hotel & office structures.

There'll be plenty of time for tire kickin' and wipe-em-down before we take off, and there's a Mobil station at Townsgate & Westlake for last-minute refueling.

Drive will atleast be 2 hours, probably longer, unless you guys and gals wanna go longer(Id be down for up to 4 hours..tank of gas at high speed wont let me go more then 3).

Please Email me at RedE30iS@aol.com for RSVP, or IM me at RedE30iS.

Thanks guys.

P.S.
Everyone is welcome, and tell your friends that are also euro or BMW owners..if youd like it to just be BMW, only tell your BMW friends..Thank..

DONT FORGET YOUR CAMERAS! And any other things you might need if something happens to your car. Be sure to check oil, coolant, and any other settings before you leave that you think might be required to do this drive successfully.

questions or comments, email at RedE30iS@aol.com or IM me at RedE30iS

thanks, hope lots of people come.

Sounds like a lot of fun for you west-coasters. I just hope all the attendees are pretty responsible drivers. It just takes one overzealous punk showoff to seriously f--- up someone else's day, not to mention their life. With that many cars driving around in possible close proximity, make sure everyone knows their limits.

Other than that, wish I could be there! For real!

I'm pretty sure other people might enjoy it too.... sorry I'm in the east....

If the last one was a good one... why not try and make another one some where else.... that might be a good one.. and different people can come too. Just a thought.... its only the 50th time I've asked if we could maybe have it on two different coasts ... or just change it up... sorry for complaining...

I dont understand why it wouldnt work because your not there Spiff.... every time I've brought this up... you say it wouldnt work because your not there.. and you dont know the area well enough.. I'm sure there are people on the east coast that do know their own coast... and would be able to set something up... I understand you know your area well.. and that you would be able to set up a drive that would be interesting and fun. But I'm pretty sure we over here on the east coast could do the same... and I'd love for you on the west coast to join... but you'd be in the same position that I and a many other people are in... I'm not about to jump in my car and drive all the way to cali... thats not practical... so I said that it might be cool to have something over here.. (east)... or even maybe right in the middle ... that would work best.. but no one .. (you) dont want to do that. I'm sure there is someone in the middle that would be willing to try and put something together with the help of someone like you Spiff.

I've said that we should set up a poll ... asking where people would be best willing to come and meet up and have join together and have fun. But that has always been blown down.. Merly because you say that you wouldnt be there and it wouldnt be ok cause you dont know the area... I'm sure there are other out there that would love to put something together....

I'm not singling you out Spiff.. I'm just saying there are others out there... that would most likely help you and others out in organizing something, either in the middle of the country or on the east.

I hope you are not offended and I hope you understand that I wish I could be at the next meet... I love being around other people such as you that love cars and love to drive.

What I'm gonna do is try and set up something on the east.... I will work on that my own.. I would love your help Spiff.... knowledge of what you've done in the past meet(s) and how it all went down ... and how you got all of the people together in a safe place.. and controlled the drive. You or anyone that has ideas may email me at ( bmwprodigy@yahoo.com ). I would love to hear ideas and or something that might intrest people into coming... the more the merry.

Thanks,

Les DeBusk
