A few of us are interested in putting together a meet on the eastern side of the U.S. All you guys in SoCal get to have all the fun, and you've made all of us over here jealous.
Just trying to get a consensus of how many would be interested and where you all are located. I'm not sure of the location yet, as it would be determined by those who are interested. I am guessing somewhere centrally located so as to make it accessable for the most people.
It would probably go something like this: we all drive in, get a group rate on a decent hotel, tear the rooms apart, go for a nice long drive the next day, and polish it off with a good meal. Those wishing to take off can, and another night (at another hotel-LOL) would be available for those wishing to make a good start the following morning.
Please list where you live if it is not already included in your info.
You already know I'll go... but I'll just start the list off....
Livin in N.C./Virginia
The more people we have post on this topic the more accurate and helpful we can be to put on a good day of events. There will be pleanty of notice... before hand... on dates/time/location.
I believe theres is a thread in Regional forums where a whole bunch of Ohio people tried to make a meet and failed to do so... they might want in on this.
There will be pleanty of time between now and the meet.. dont worry.. we will give everyone pleanty of time to get plans... take off of work.. ect.. We are just now trying to find exactly how many people are willing to say something.. and come out of the wood work for this thing.
Keep in mind this would take place in the spring or late winter (weather permitting), so you would have plenty of time to plan. I just want to get an idea of how many would be interested, and would like to make this as big as possible.
Any of you in the KY, AL, ARK. area could crash with me outside of Nashville and finish the trip the next day. Right now it looks like Virginia might service everyone the best.
