wow, it's amazing that the guy knew so muhc about cars but didn't realize that the car was a piece of shit until after he paid for it. i read that whole thing, took me like 25 minutes! i bet he had some fun writing that story. funny how the nascar guy lied about everything, and it sucks that he drove out there to waste his time and money.

man what a story, i got toward the end and its like it left off, never got to the end, then i saw a bunch of posts on that board at the bottom, whats up with that i wanna read the rest!

I think running a CARFAX on it would not have told him anything, if I understood correctly? Yeah, he probably should have. Having been caught up in the excitement, he was willing to make a few sacrafices for the car. But, in the end, it was obviously something he couldn't even own, it having been stolen and all.
I hope he gets his money back, too bad the guy lied to him that whole time.
