Cheap Gas!!!!

Well i went to fill my tank up today, and i decided you go get that really cheap gas, but when i tried to fill up, my tank WOULD NOT take it. ghead I don't know if its cause its got some filter on it, cause i first i thought it was that my tank was broken, but i went to a different station and it worked fine. I know the cap restricts leaded gas, and that it has a valve or something, but i don't know think the gas was leaded. I thought there was no leaded gas here in the states. used Anywayz, i just came to the conclusion that i won't buy cheap gas anymore. I was able to get about half a tank in my car, by trying like 15 times, but now she just doesn't run the same. it MUST be the gas.

Cheaper is not always Better.

No i gotta drive my car till i run out of the cheap ass gas and can fill her up with something good. I guess i better get going.

are you sure their pump wasnt out of order ? because to my knowledge, to this day, no manufacturer makes a valve that will protect you from pouring leaded gas into it... thats why they give you the little 'unleaded only' sticker.

i have been using all kinds of gas... from wal mart to shell, chevron, bp and all other gas stations and it always ran just fine.

must be user error on ur part.

I'v used Sam's or BJ's gas every time and I dont notice a difference between them and other big names (Texaco, Exxon...). I also heard that the gas that is sent to Sam's or other stores come from Exxon and such since they are the refiners. So there should be no difference between to different gas stations.

Cheaper is virtually never better - less expensive is better in a lot of situations, but low-grade anything is asking for trouble. I'm completely broke, I can't go out more than once or twice a week, I haven't seen a movie in months, and I haven't bought a DVD since May. But darn it, my car gets premium octane every time the tank gets low.
