 catalytic converter
Hi Guys and Gals, i need some help. The shop told me that my cataytic converter on my '02 530i maybe bad and must be replaced. I called bmw to asked about the federal emissions warranty and they told me its 8 years or 80K. I have 115K. The price is $700+ for each. I have two, the cataltic converters are build into the exhaust manifold. Can any one tell me if there is a company out there that sells after market ones, usally they are a lot cheaper also does anyone know if the cats can be moved further down the exhaust system which will probable allow me more option of finding one alot cheaper,thanks for any help. |
