So yesterday I decide that today I would change my oil and spark plugs. I tell my mom this and asked if she could give me a little money, she says sure. So this morning I wake up and my car is gone along with my key right off of my keychain. I call my mom and she tells me that my car is being worked on and they said that they are changing the oil spark plugs, checking ignition wiring ... etc.
She didn't trust that I could do it myself. How am I supposed to learn?

Yeah, exactly. I think all she cars about is that the car is maintained by a certified bmw guy and has up to date service records. Thing is, it's my car!!! However she is paying for this service and filling the car up with gas. So I guess I can't complain too much.

I once took a car in to get new tires and they had teh nerve to touch my oil pan. Like they had any idea that my engine at the time ran most efficiently not with the factory preset 4.5 quarts of oil, but with 3.75 quarts. And the idea of replacing the oil pug with an air ratchet wouldn't cross my mind from now til doomsday!
Then they had the balls to try and charge me for it!
The things mechanics do when you don't watch them closely.
Yea, free gas is definatly free gas. Considering I think the lowest I saw here is 1.96 for regular. She is however allowing me touch-up paint the car myself cause she's going away for 2 weeks. So 2 weeks of freedom with my car and a decent amount of money ... time for some mods.
(couldn't find a big enough smiley face)
