Car Buying Suggestions

Hey guys I'm new to the bmw scene, I'm 18 and I've been driving for about two years now. I went through the whole street racing stage and pretty much outgrew it. I'd rather have a nice luxury car to show than a "fast" car that wakes up the block when I come home from work. Don't get me wrong I'm not saying I want a slow car, enough power to stomp on your average run of the mill Civic "Yinnggg Yiinnng-ing" around the block.

I need some suggestions but there are some requirements for my bank to finance me:
-Car has to be 1996 or newer
-Since I have no credit I can't get a loan for much so the car has to be about $10,000 or less

All I've seen are the Z3.. the 318 and the 328 (which for some reason I can't find in something other than automatic..do they even come in manual?)

yes they do come in manual but most people got autos put in them, i think if you look hard enough on say autotrader or cars.com you can find a manual 328 for less than 10k, and that should make you happy

so your suggesting i find a 328i over the other choices right? 328i is even harder to find in manual+2 dr.. ghead

haha wow there u found one that's manual.. 300mi away is pretty far though.. lol i don't even know where the 323 area code is.. of the choices.. which would be faster? the 328 right.. it being 6 cyl.. i also saw a few M3s for under 10.. but those make me nervous.. seems too good to be true.. XD
