yes, the upgrades are nice too
acceleration is nice 0-60 in 7.1(mines down @6-6.2now)
top speed is 139 stock??? im up to 160mph, with room for improvement.
yes, civics,preludes,accorde,maximas,ect.ect.ect (u dont need to think small time! think @ "when will i eat my first V8 SS!)
its a car you will get hooked on. welcome to the BMW family! first advise:
unless its covered under warranty, free, or u r just there to drive the new M3 FOR FREE, stay away from dealerships. and send pictures. and car info: mileage, options, wheels, ect. ect.
I looked at one a couple of days ago - 1994 325is 119k mi, cd player, 18" gianelle wheels, its privatly owned and hes asking 7500, i was thinking this was a lil steep im sure i could work him down though. it was automatic though
IMO, you HAVE to get stick shift. and a BMW w/ 100k+ miles on it, or 200k+ miles on it, can still run f*ckin great, so dont let miles turn you down. mine has 203k and its running awesome. good choice on a first car. good luck man.

I just bought a 325is 5 speed and I LOVE it...it is my first Bimmer to own, but deffinatly not my first to drive...The M50TU is a good engine. Single VANOS isn't too bad either it's a fun car, I think you'd enjoy owning one
