Ouch. I'm sorry if that's the handiwork of anyone on here, but the makeover made that beautiful car end up looking totally gay. I doubt there's a single change made to that car that I can appreciate. In fact, on the road, I think I'd try as hard as possible to speed past that beast just so that it wouldn't be in my line of sight anymore. Love the way the huge wheels fill out the wheel chamber, though.
P.S.: Anyone care to enhance my car vocab and suggest a better term than "wheel chamber"?

Err... no, I mean the actual empty space the wheel-tire assembly sits in. With small wheels, there's so much space between the wheels and the fender that some cars look like the car's sitting on roller skates. Anyway, I'm just rambling about the obvious when I really need to be getting out of the house and checking out that 328is up for sale. Grr, I'm running late and I'm still drowsy. Me needs more N-er-G!

You know, it's interesting you mention that, as, with half a year since the last time I've used "gay" in that sense, and maybe a whopping three or more years before that for the second-to-last time, I actually felt quite self-conscious as I typed it. Different environments evoke different flavors of character and speech, though, and the term seemed more closely aligned with my meaning than anything else. In any case, I'll try to refrain from that usage here just as I seem to have naturally done in the real world (offline, that is).

Hmm, maybe that's why the l33t-o-philes have adopted the alternative 'ghey' spelling. Hardly hides the fact that the usage surely originated from ant-gay sentiments (rather than the more common use that largely ignores the fact that the word has anything to do with homosexuality {or maybe it was just me that ignored the association and everyone else were just homo-bashing pricks}). Bah, still rambling. I need to take a shower and make an exit already.

If something is repeated often enough it becomes normalized and while demeaning and degrading to whole groups of people, the majority, in their ignorance, plead....I didn't really mean what the word really meant....
It seems that you are taking the high road....thanks for listening.
