Wtf? does he not like selling cars? im afraid i may have to search again for a nice BMW in my area... If anyone here is from NC where would be a good place to look from somethin like a 92-94 525 or 325? here i thought i got lucky finding this dealer but i have a feeling he sold it under me to one of his 100 kids or something... Maybe i'll go there monday and punch him in the nutbag. From your guys' experience where is it best to find a good deal, on the net, local paper, or just cruise around looking for them in dealerships? |
This sounds corny, but I was looking on Ebay to get an idea, because I knew I wanted a 3 series. I also knew I wanted a 99 and up sedan. I luckily found one that was a great deal, at the time of the auction. It had a few days left, and when I inspected the ad further it was at a dealer 2 hours away from home. I took a roadtrip with a couple of family members, to check it out. I had all the paperwork ie. carfax report(good idea) print-outs from thier dealer site. They were testing the market through autotrader, the sales guy didn't realize that it was on that site. He was cool, and said that I could probably get it for 19 or 20 grand.(99 E46) I was like, well this shows it as being 15,900, and he was like.
He called over another guy who was the manager, and he said that they would honor it. Sorry for the long story, but the point is to do your homework...and you are sure to come across a good
