Airnag Retrofit

Found this sweet 2002 im looking at getting, but im curious to kno if i am able to retrofit airbag(s)? If so does anyone kno how much it would cost?

i would not do that at all, but try to restore the car back to it's original shape as much as possible.

It would be hard to ad airbags due to the fact the car's computer (if even equipped with one) would not be able to process the information in a crash, and the sensor unit would have to be transplanted from another car, and without crash test results it would be hard to calibrate the sensor.

waaaaay too expensive for a 2002. Dont get it. You can buy a rust heap for $200 and have it looking perfect for $3,500 if you are willing to work on the car yourself. Have other people paint and do body work, but if you can put in parts, perhpas even pay someone to put in engiine and transmission if the car doesn't have one. $6,000 is way to expesnive. My friend has 11 02's, and I've been to many 2002 car shows. That guy is trying to rip some one off.
