What do you BMW drivers think of the evolution and direction of the 3 series over time?

i think the 3rd pic looks the best, if the bumpers werent the big ones.

and i dont think the pic of the E46 does it as much justice, because it has the bad bumper in the front.

e30/e36 own all :P

e46/e90 look like a crosseyes kid imo :P still love the cars but not as unique as the older models

[attachmentid=21067]I like all of them: the E30 , E36 , E46 have a angry faces, but if u look carefully at E90 then u will see that he has a big open eyes and big just like the E6 and E21 does!!! maybe the evolution is back to the bigining? what do u think?

Love the E46 the best. The E90 has lost the BMW touch and uniqueness in my opinion. The E36 aint bad either.

I always will love the E30, maybe cause i have one, But when you see an E30 M3 going down the street, its like an old car that looks new, and they are small. not big and wide like the new E90's<<<<<<<WTF oh yea it does kinda look buck toothed

More seriously look from the e30 to e90
e30 look neutraly (this think hmmm.. i will kick you ass maybe..)
e36 agresively (i will beat you, but not eat you)
e46 like a phantera ( he thinks- i know how to eat you I WILL EAT YOU ALIVE ) hahaha
e90 happy (the diner was verry good, so now i can't play i'm big and fat)

They have grown out of what they were and I miss the old.
E30's are the best

Nah, IMO....they started off good with the e36 and got better...to the e46...which is nice...and finally the e90...to me...the e46 and the e90 are a close call...but I have to go with my motto....newer and the more expensive....the better.

1. e90-330i-loaded works.
2. e46-330Ci fully loaded with SMG.
3. e36-M3 is the best they got.

E21's and E30's the best...

I think the E46 is the worse of the bunch...that was when the look was commercialized and no more uniquly BMW's look. But the E90 looks dynmaic and debonaire enough to reinvigorate the line.

E36 is the exact car that sold me into the BMW world.
