| Most times, the dealerships around me will tell customers that they will have to take their radio out and send it in or call it in to get the code and it will cost $40-50...All we do is pull the radio out, get the serial number, call the service department and tell them a car we are working on needs a radio code because we disconnected the battery and they check the code in their computer or call it in for free...
