i'm probably gonna get my receiver this thanksgiving...and then get my amp and subs for xmas.....what should i look for b4 buying an amp?......what should i look for b4 buying sub? (brands, type, watts, etc...)

i agree, jl audio has the best subs and amps. For example, most amps say that it has 800 watts, but really pushes only 300-400 watts. But a jl amp, if it says 500 watts, it pushes 500 watts. Subs are the best, especially the w7. Great quality, but pretty pricey (worth the money though).

hey lwebb12 are you planning to do more to your sound system, such as your mids and highs??? If you are, will it be enough power to handle it all??

do you have the h/k, I had those, but didn't think it sounded too well. Now I got some mb quarts. Sound advice have them in sale for a pretty good deal right now.
