Too Much Vibrating From Subs

I've got a 12" Memphis running on a 500watt memphis amp. It definitly gives me enough power but when turned up, loud, i dont like all the stuff vibrating, ecspecially my trunk lid. I know this might not be a big deal to everyone else but I dont prefer it. Anything you would reccomend to keep the trunk lid from vibrating?

Also, do you guys fold down your back 2 seats to hear your sub better? I think its much clearer and louder with my back seats folded down.

Oh yea, one more thing. My door panel and the little peice above my interior front lights are both coming loose, i think this may be from the sub.. anything you can reccomend to fix this?

Dynamat (or any other brand of sound dampening material maker) works wonders for trunk rattles. I good rule of thumb: rest your hand on the trunk lid, where you find that the rattling simmers down a bit, put the Dynamat in the trunk lid/panel/etc. at that point. Try a wide range of frequencies/songs etc. to get rid of all unwanted noises.

I have a ski hole and my subs are forced to go through that hole through a type of bandpass enclosure I built. The trunk lid dosen't have a chance to rattle because no air is getting to the trunk lid, its being forced into the cabin area. Good luck....

Just remember dynamat weighs a ton! It can have a marked performance impact if too much is used. Some people line thier whole trunk with the stuff (100+lbs). Sometimes your better off finding the source of the rattle(s) and selectivly using a combination of dynamat, foam weather striping, and soft washers. Of course this takes a lot longer to be successful.
