Stop my trunk from rattling...

So when turned up, my driver just blows the hell outta my trunk and it sounds so geno outside.... It's not just the rear of the trunk but also the top lid as well...

Is dynomating my trunk the only option? Anyone have experiences with similar products? I heard there's a roofing material you can get from Home Depot and it works well and is way cheaper???

Sure , there are many alternatives, but none as good as dynomat. That stuff does more than stopage of rattles, it actually improves sound. It is a very dense material, and it dampens the sound eviornment. It will quiet your ride, and allow more sound from your audio system to remain in the vehicle as opposed to disapating outside the car.

I wasn't going to go for ghetto alternatives, but I've heard that there are competitive products to dynomat and just wanted to know if anyone has had experience using those?

It's not just the license plate area, it's the whole damn trunk that vibrates! (and even the area by the front kick panels when loud enough...)

Actually we carry a similar product made by Tsunami called "Silencer". It works the same and is a little cheaper. Sorry for the smarta$# reply, but I couldn't resist...
