I was wondering if anyone here has any recommendations for what speakers to pick up to replace the stock speakers in a 2002 325Ci without the HK. I am getting the windows tinted tomorrow and thought I might make a trip past Circuit city to replace the interior speakers. Just like some here had told me before I picked up the vehicle, the midrange on the stock system sucks. What specific replacements would do well. Right now we are just going to be replacing the interior speakers. Also, as a new Bimmer owner, what size are all the speakers in the non HK system. Thanks everyone.

Many BMW audiophiles like DIamond Audio, Rainbow Speakers, Infinity, and MB Quart. You should be able to go 6.5 up front and 5.25 in back; maybe even 6.5.

Thanks...I was kind of thinking that I would either go with Infinities, Polk Audio or even the Pioneer's. I have had both Pioneers and Infinities in the past and have been pleased. A buddy of mine had the Polks and enjoyed them.

The only brands I would buy at Circuit City, where I am actually soon to be employed selling car audio (they didn't need anymore installers right now, but the guy basically said he'd hire me on the spot for roadshop sales if he could. Had to come home fill out their online app.), are the infinity, alpine, polk, and boston acoustics products.

My last two cars have had Boston RC620's in them because the quality for the money seems great to me. I'm waiting for a pair of CDT's to show up and I hope they're worth the 50% price premium.
