So, I just bought my gf a 1996 bmw 328is , It came with a shitty aftermarket headunit and I'm putting a new headunit in it that supports 6 disk changers. Will this work with the stock 6 disk (not in car but has the wiring for it so i guess it once was)??? Also has anyone heard anything good/bad about clarion headunits or rockford fosgate headunits?

I have asked this before and the reply I got was, sadly, no. The suggestion was to sell my stock BMW cd changer and buy a complete new system.
