I had an amp and subs installed in my car (before I knew how to do it on my own, and since then installed it the back left speakers haven't been working. They had to splice wires to get the signal for the amp and i am afraid they messed up somehow. I don't have DSP and currently I don't have my subs in, could it be that those speakers would only work when my system is in because of a short if it isn't their. Let me know what you think...if it isn't an easy fix I'll bring it back to car audio place but they are a pain in the ass to work with so I am trying to avoid it...
When they installed your line level converter (to get RCA's to the amp) they probably tapped the rear speaker leads (you probably already know this-LOL). They probably just jerked the connection loose. I wouldn't mess with it, make them, that's part of what you get when you pay for a professional installation...
