I need some recomendations on speakers for my two speakers in the door panels. In the rear deck I've got some Pioneer TS-G1040R they're ok, but sound sort of crappy. In the front 3.5s I've got some Blaupunkt (sp?) they're ok too. I've listened to each speaker in dependently when I turn it up louder and the downfall seems to be the tweeters in the doors.

Recomendations on sets that are 30-40 bucks and sound decent? I just want it to sound clear and be able to be a tad louder. Also my deck is a Poineer with 200w peak and like 20x 4w rms I think. I have no idea what any of that wattage and shit means. If you feel like splanin' splain' away.

think of RMS as an average. On average, it puts out a continuous X amount of watts.

As for tweeters and cheap, think again. If you want to keep the blaupunkts, I know they also make a cheap(er) tweet. I think runs something like 45.

What I would do is upgrade your 5.25 kicks to a component setup. The 3.5s in the doors shouldn't be hooked up with the 4ch HU anyway. Infinity makes good stuff, as does mb quart.

Yeah I owned myself the Blaupunkts are in the 5.25 inchers in the kick panel. So i'm looking 45 bucks for tweeters and then the 3 inch midranges?

What Prez is oferring is to toss the 3.5's, and buy a set of seperates. Ya getcha sum 5.25's fer the kickpanels and tweets fer the doors. And ya get one a dem fancy inline crossovers to further complicate the install.

If you break open the piggybank, you can probably find some for $150-200. If you want PM me for a much cheaper but "cheaper solution.

There is little point in upgrading from factory speakers if you are going with cheap... im not sure what that will do to improve things. When it comes to speakers, its best to not go cheap. IMHO
