Speaker/amp Thru Fuse Box??

Should my sub and amp, and infinity ref 5000cs speakers be ran thru a fuse box? Will my battery be draining if they are not going thru a fuse box??

I am not sure of your question but your amplifier should be fused (protection for your car), read the owners manual for fuse size. This goes on your main power lead.

The "rem" wire at the amplifier, will go to the blue/white wire coming out of your 9823. This will turn on the amplifier whenever your Alpine is turned on.

The battery will drain only if you have a lot of "parking lot" time with the motor not running. With it running, your battery could ride shotgun with you, it runs off the alternator.

BTW, the battery will also drain if you listen to a lot of Merle Haggard or any other form of 70's music.

My speakers are not running thru my amp, they are running off the my head unit. i bypassed my amp so i can get more juice. will they be draining my battery when my car is off?
i have an amp for my sub only, so i guess my sub wont be draining anything...

Your radio will only being drawing power from your battery if the motor is not running. The speakers only work when the radio is on. They dont draw any power, its the radio that does the draw.
