Has anyone ever noticed how good at blocking sound the rear seats are? They cut out so much of the volume of my system. Has anyone dealt with this problem yet?
its due a a bunch of sound deadening materal about 1/4 inch thick behind the seats. You can take off your seats and remove it if you prefer. Instructions on that would be in my audio install diy if you don't know how to remove the seats.
If your car doesnt have the "cold weather package" (ski hole behind rear armrest, fold down rear seat) you can also remove the "ski hole" metal as well. The sound deadening material has a perferated piece that is the exact size the hole would be behind the armrest.
